RIF-Honolulu encourages a love of reading through book ownership and distributes almost 16,000 books a year to kindergarten through third grade students at 16 schools on Oahu. Our children’s literacy program currently serves the following public elementary schools:
Leeward District: Kamaile Academy (charter), Leihoku, Maili, Makaha, Nanaikapono, Nanakuli, and Waianae
Honolulu District: Kalihi, Kauluwela, Linapuni, and Lincoln
Windward District: Kahaluu, Kailua, Blanche Pope, Waiahole, and Waimanalo
